Pooch 3

"Scratch a dog and you'll find yourself a permanent job."

Hello everyone! I am a pretty cross between Maltes and Yorkie girl. Girlie girl, of course. I love being taken care off, pampered, brushed and also those spa scent foamy baths.
Ok, there are few things I don't like too. For example, I don't like my paws being touched. No, really I do not. They are so sensitive! And I am always afraid, that humans will not notice my little fingers and will cut them off.. Such a horrible nightmares I have about it! Ohh..
But then we found Tangle Tails on internet. We looked at happy doggie pictures and decided to try them out. Oh, this lady was so nice!! I had a bath and she was so careful and so good with me!... At first I worried still a bit, but then she told me, that she has a yorkie girl at home. Her own yorkie girl, can you believe?! Oh, relaxed then and allowed her even to trim my nails.
Lady was lovely! We had so much fun and so many cuddles together and maybe even my nightmares about cut off fingers are going to stop. Thank you Tangle Tails, please come back again, I will give you a sweet yorkie kiss and you can also rub my belly a lot next time!

We bath your dog with professional gentle & mild shampoos/conditioner for different types of coats. Regular bathing keeps your dog’s skin healthy and coat clean and shiny.

Drying & brushing is one of the most important steps in grooming your dog. Your dog must be brushed correctly, removing all matted and loose hair in order for them to look their best.

De-matting is done for an extra charge, depending on how matted your dog’s hair is.

The ears of a dog are very sensitive and susceptible to infection, excessive wax buildup and parasite infection.  A gentle clean with the correct products will eliminate most problems.  Also keep in mind that removing the hair out of the ears (plucking) will keep the ears healthy.

Haircuts and Styles are needed frequently, depending on the breed. We have experience in all types of styles and breeds. We will also work with you to custom design your dog’s haircut according to your taste.

Dogs need to get their nails trimmed on a regular basis. Once a month if possible.

Reasons to groom

01Avoid expensive Vet visits when all this can be prevented with regular 4-6 week grooming maintenance for your best friend.

02Your dog will feel better, look better be healthier and happier.

03Your dog's ears have hair deep within the inner canals that need to be removed every 4 to 6 weeks; otherwise, you risk inflammations and potential ear infections which is very uncomfortable and painful.

04Clearing your dog's private areas of hair is just plain good hygiene. This guarantees your dog's excretions and stool will not stick and be carried indoors and your dog will stay fresher and cleaner longer.

05Anal glands are the most neglected part of your dog's body. As they fill up, some can burst causing very expensive surgery and unnecessary pain. A thorough groom includes expressing these glands.

06Matted hair pulls and causes great discomfort and pain for your pet, creates a breeding environment for fleas, ticks and their nests and also causes skin problems.

07Long and overgrown nails force your dog to walk on the sides of their pads which causes pain and in the long run, this contributes to arthritis in the paws, legs and hips.

08Crust in the corner of the eyes causes sores and can lead to your pet's discomfort. These sores can only be seen after removing the thick crust upon grooming.

09Dogs cool off by panting and by air circulating around and through their pads. Long hair impairs that ability. Trimming this hair should also keep them from slipping on your tile floors and injuring themselves.

10Bathing with professional high quality products helps remove old hair, dirt and oil from the skin. The physical action of being washed is pleasant to most dogs, and it may make your groomer aware of a lump or bump that may have appeared or changed suddenly from the last visit
